Cranial architecture: Mosaic (mixture) of both australopith characteristics and Homo features.

General: Pelvic aspects, decreased upper limb robusticity, and foot bones present with some evidence that A. sediba was becoming adapted to a more terrestrial niche (less like australopiths and more like Homo); however, the small cranial capacity is more similar to A. africanus and the hand and foot bones indicate that A. sediba may have practiced some degree of arboreality. |
